SETTINGS REFERANCE  ⚙️

TREND CIPHER COMPONENT

The primary feature that identifies trends using visual signals, such as arrows for bullish ("") and bearish ("") trends.

Strong trends are indicated with a '+' sign, with color-coded candlesticks: green (bullish), red (bearish), and gray (ranging market).

Marks potential take-profit points with "X" symbols.

Users can adjust the period length for the Trend Cipher to suit different market conditions and strategies. For example, a shorter period is more sensitive and responsive to quick shifts in trends, while a longer period offers more stable signals for long-term traders.(longer periods shown below)

Trend Bias Component

Long-term Trend Filter and Confirmation

A smooth band that reflects the central tendency of price movements, confirming long-term trends. Bright colors indicate strong trends, subdued colors signal weakening momentum.

This helps users avoid false signals and enter high-probability trades.

Fair Value Trail

Entry Optimization

Wait for the price to retrace into the Fair Value Trail before entering a trade. This helps you buy at a discount or sell at a premium. The Fair Value Trail adjusts its width dynamically based on market volatility, ensuring relevant entry zones.

Trend Spine

Range Detection and Filter

Use the Trend Spine to identify flat, ranging markets.

  • A flat Trend Spine indicates that the market is consolidating and it's best to avoid entering trades during these periods.

  • When the Trend Spine starts to incline or decline, it signals the resumption of a trend.

Firmament Cloud

Reversal Zones

  • Watch for price reaching the Firmament Cloud zones, which indicate potential overbought or oversold conditions.

    • If the price touches the upper cloud, consider selling or taking profits.

    • If the price touches the lower cloud, look for buying opportunities.

  • Use this feature with the Trend Cipher to confirm trend reversals or exits from overextended positions.

The cloud adjusts based on price movement and user-defined settings, helping traders spot extreme market conditions.

Combining Components for Synergy

  • Trend Cipher + Trend Bias: Align short-term and long-term trends for higher-probability trades.

  • Fair Value Trail + Trend Cipher: Improve your risk-reward ratio by waiting for price retracements into the Fair Value Trail before entering trades.

  • Trend Spine + Trend Cipher: Avoid trading in ranging markets when the Trend Spine is flat.

  • Firmament Cloud + Trend Cipher: Spot overbought or oversold conditions to time your entries and exits more precisely.

SETTINGS

Trend Cipher Period: Main period for Trend Identification.

Take Profit During Ranging Conditions: Option to take profit during ranging market conditions.

Take Profit Signals: Enables take profit signals.

Noise Reduction Factor: Increase this value to reduce false signals, but don't set it too high, or no signals will trigger.

Max Take Profits per Signal: Maximum number of take profit signals for each trend signal, useful for exiting a trade after a fixed number of signals.

Trend Spine Period: Main calculation period for the Trend Spine. Must be at least 30.

Noise Reduction Factor (Trend Spine): Noise reduction multiplier for Trend Spine. A larger value reduces noise but may prevent signals
from being printed.

Source (Trend Spine): The data source for the Trend Spine calculations (e.g., close price).

Fair Value Trail Noise Reduction Factor: Noise reduction factor for Fair Value Trail. A larger input reduces noise and identifies longer-term trends.

Trend Bias Period: Calculation period for the Trend Bias indicator. A larger value identifies longer-term trends.

Base Cloud Deviation: Base deviation of the upper and lower clouds. A larger value increases the distance between clouds.

Firmament Cloud Width: The thickness of the clouds in the Firmament Cloud indicator.
